PRE SCC BLOG 8/22

Well it’s that time of the year again and SCC is just 5 weeks away, and its going to be a blast. This will be my 3^rd year attending the conference and it seems to always get better, much like wine or aged cheese, hmmm……Anyhoo, this year I am going to TRY (<--- KEYWORD) to pack lite and keep it simple and I know that’s almost impossible for a Trans-woman. I had the idea after watching a You-Tube video by Ford models, the model Alejandra is showing us what she packs and giving tips on how to pack it in a small carry on.

I love this channel on you tube, besides this one they have a lot of great videos on exercise and diet as well as fashion in makeup, clothes and hair, a TG can learn a lot form them.

Speaking of Videos, this year at SCC I plan to take a more interactive role and really blog about my days there as well as snap pictures and videos and maybe some interviews, yes I will be filming using my Sony handy-cam. All will be posted on You Tube so be on the look out for it in 5 weeks, the first video should be weds night (taken weds afternoon).

Now what to wear to SCC, oh for those that are reading and don’t know what SCC is, it’s a conference called Southern Comfort Conference http://www.sccatl.org/. And no its not the drink or an AA meeting about the drink, it’s a convention/conference geared towards the trans-gender community (M2F, F2M) that educates and informs as well as support the on going process of equality, and be able to function in everyday society as a human beings and not FREAKS. Ok back to what to wear… I need an evening dress that is sexy, like the one I wore at SCC 07, it was a little black designer black tank dress (will get the name later) it was so comfy I and yet so sexy with out being slutty.. http://www.flickr.com/photos/87508412@N00/2082073940/

Love this dress and outfit and my hair was awesome my skin was tan, If you can’t find me I am the middle the short Asian girl, by the way I was in pain in those heels, see what women go through, to look hot and sexy.

Ahh well I need to find another dress so its shopping for this poor young woman, yes I am poor, racking up those CC bills sigh…. A woman’s best friend and worst enemy all in one.
