Coming out.

  In the past few months my courage has grown. I have come out to 4 people since October. The biggest reveal was my mother. I was pretty surprised by her accepting reaction but then again I really shouldn't be. Moms are the best! She understood and of course express her unconditional love for her youngest.

  Funny how the one moment in my beginnings of discovering I love women's clothes, a moment that has stuck in my mind for 40+ years, mom does not recall at all! When I was about 6 or 7 she caught me wearing a pair of her knee-high nylons. Of course I was mortified and I got "the talk" from both parents. I asked if she remembered and she did not. Thanks Mom! I Love You!

  Back in 2006 I revealed myself to for the first time. She was a GG that wanted to date me. She is a Reiki Master (FYI- http://www.reiki.org/faq/whatisreiki.html ) who could read my energy. She kept telling me that there was something about me but she couldn't quite place it. After a little urging I told her. Well actually I started by showing her my URNA profile picture. Her first reaction was "What? You're married?!" I told her to look closely. She still didn't see it. Then I told her. She accepted it fully! We even embraced it incorperating into our sex. It was bliss! But then something changed her and it went downhill from there. All of that fun ended and she asked that I get rid of everything for MY sake. In other words, don't be who you really are. Be someone that society accepts.

  That was the beginning of the end. When it finally did end, she felt it was her duty to tell my friends and family that I was a cross dresser. I lost a couple of "friends" because of that. My sister wouldn't acknowledge her. My mother refused to believe her, ( until I told her ), and my brother just won't talk about it. Oh well, life goes on.

  The next reveal was last year. I connected with an old female friend after many years. She was easy to tell. She started by wanting to tell me a secret. She told me she was bi and had had a lesbian relationship for 2 years. So that was my segway into my secret. To make this story short, she is VERY excepting and is willing to participate. She became my go-to when I needed to talk and vise-versa. People like her really build the confidence to tell others.
